Account of the open lecture of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Russia

On April 24 at Presidential Academy (RANEPA) took place the visit of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlads to Russia – Mrs. Rene Johns-Bos, organized by the Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service.

During her visit Mrs. Ambassador, accompanied by Embassy delegation, met Director of IPACS Igor Barcic, the Dean of the Faculty of international region studies and regional administrationValentina Komleva and employees of the faculty. In the course of the meeting questions linked with realization of Russian-Dutch projects in which actively paricipates IPACS RANEPA were discussed.

After meeting Mrs. Rene Johns-Bos delivered an open lecture for students of IPACS RANEPA. She described opportunities of the Kingdom of the Netherlands at the global level, close partnership with Russia including cooperation in educational sphere. The lecture was opened by rector of RANEPA – Mr.  Mau. Mrs. Ambassador gave word to director of Russian-Dutch educational center Nuffic Neso – Mr. Yerke Vershoor who invited students at the presentation of opportunities in education of the Netherlands which will take place on May 20 in the framework of the international festival of IPACS. In conclusion Mrs. Ambassador answered to students questions and expressed  her ideas concerning development of students of both countries cooperation.

After open lecture an official meeing of Mrs. Rene Johns-Bos and Mr. Vladimir Mau with participation of Dutch delegation and employees of IPACS took place. The problems of realization of common projects were discussed and also historical retrospection of Russia-Netherlands relationship.
