Double degree program with Nice Sophia Antipolis University

From May 6 to 8, a delegation of the Higher School of Law at RANEPA Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service (IPACS) paid an official visit to the Cote d’Azur University (Nice Sophia Antipolis University), where they signed an agreement on a double degree Master’s program.


At the official meeting between IPACS Director Igor Bartsits and Dean of the Higher School of Law Oleg Zaitsev and the newly elected Dean of the School of Law and Political Science at UNS Xavier Latour, the sides exchanged the signed agreements on the double degree Master’s program in Civil Law, Family Law and International Private Law (a Russian -French program). The parties agreed to extend the agreement to an undergraduate program in law and discussed joint research and publishing projects.

During a working meeting with Professor Jean-Christophe Martin, Deputy Vice President for International Relations at UNS, agreements were reached about implementing two more double degree Master’s programs, Legal Support for State and Municipal Administration (Russian-French) and Financial Law, Tax Law and Taxation (Russian-French). The parties discussed the possibilities for students to work on their degree papers under the guidance of two supervisors – professors at Nice Sophia Antipolis University and RANEPA, earning two relevant degrees.
