Expert discussion “Financial Law and Management: Interaction and Interdependencies” was held with the participation of foreign guests from different countries

On May 19, 2021, the Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service (IPACS) RANEPA was held an expert discussion “Financial Law and Management: Interaction and Interdependencies”. Experts, students and guests from different countries took part in the event program.


Italian representative Francesco Cannas, professor of financial law at the Piedmont University in his speech noted the importance of adapting the tax system in the digital age.

Karfikova Maria, Professor, Doctor of Law, Candidate of Science, Head of the Department of Financial Law and Financial Science at Charles University in the Czech Republic spoke on the specifics of financial law in the Czech Republic.

The topical issue of taxation of cryptocurrency in Poland was raised by Edwardas Juhnevichus, professor at the University of Gdansk, who spoke in detail about the cryptocurrency system and the peculiarities of purchase and sale transactions.

Topical problems of tax law in the Republic of Belarus were presented by Abramchik Lilia a representative of the Grodno University. Special emphasis was placed on the problem of tax administration, in particular the development of IT infrastructure and innovations.

In the second part of the conference, a bright presentation was the report “State financial institutions of Cuba” from Jose Carlos del Toro Rios, Deputy Director General for Tax Policy of the Ministry of Finance and Pricing Policy of Cuba. Thanks to his report, the participants in the discussion got acquainted with the difference between the financial institutions of Russia and Cuba and also learned more about the institutions of the Cuban government. At the end of the discussion colleagues thanked the organizers for the productive event and invited experts to be published in the Cuban Public Service Journal.
