IGSU RANEPA warmly met foreign students
On September 1, Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service RANEPA hosted events dedicated to the opening ceremony of the new academic year. The International Cooperation Department IPACS organized an event for foreign students who were able to come to Russia after a long period of distance education process.
The event was attended by the management of the Institute, honor guests, professors and staff, as well as foreign and Russian students. The celebration has become a significant and joyful event for all of us.
At the beginning of the event, Acting Director of IPACS Ruslan Korchagin made a welcoming speech and wished foreign students to deepen their knowledge about Russia, be active in social life and use all Institute opportunities.
The Head of international cooperation department IPACS Sikirinskaya Karolina also congratulated Russian and foreign students on the beginning of the academic year and noted that the Institute annually meets students from different parts of the world and looks forward to them in the international IPACS family.
Olga Pirozhenko, Director of the Russian-Spanish Cooperation Center spoke about the experience of the Institute’s fruitful interaction with Spanish universities and about the unique opportunities that are open to Russian and Spanish students thanks to constant joint work.
Elena Ponomarenko, Director of the Russian-French Center for Education and Consulting, spoke together with state authority’s representatives of Bykov Kirill, Senior Adviser to the European Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, and Noskov Igor, representative of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science in France.
Our dear colleagues also congratulated the students: Kireeva Elena, Dean of the Faculty of Personnel Management and Civil Service; Prokoshin Maxim, Director of the Effective Governance Program; Sulimenkova Maria, Program Director of the Journalism Faculty.
At the end of the event, foreign students talked a little about themselves and their goals, and also in a playful way chose a buddy. The asset of the international student club IPACS InterClub presented foreign students with memorable gifts and useful guidebooks, which were prepared specifically for adaptation in a new cultural.
