Italian expert Ernesto Ferlengi told students of IGSU about the prospects for the development of economic ties between Russia and Italy

On 24 November, the lecture on “Current status and prospects of Russian-Italian economic relations” was held as part of the Italian Week at IPACS RANEPA.


The speaker was Ernesto Ferlenghi, Executive Vice-President of the Association of Italian Industrialists in the Russian Federation Confindustria Russia, Co-Chairman of the Russian-Italian Civil Society Dialogue Forum on the part of Italy.

The students learnt about the history of the partnership between the two countries, examined the current economic indicators and considered the new strategy of industrial development in Russia, which is related to the localisation of production. In addition, the topics of investment and energy transformation were touched upon.

At the end of the lecture, students were able to ask the speaker questions concerning the current prospects of Russian-Italian economic relations.
