The Italian Week has finished at the Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service

The Italian week took place at the Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service in parallel with the sensational gastronomic event “Gastronomic Week of Italian Cuisine”, where IPACS InterClub students also participated.


From 22/11 to 26/11 at IPACS you could hear Italian speech everywhere and see Italian speakers who held master classes and opening lectures every day. Students were able to learn a lot of interesting information from invited speakers: famous actors, professors, businessmen and politicians.

22/11 took place the opening Ceremony of the VI Week of Italian Cuisine in the world. The Consulate General of Italy website P.R.I.A launched a series of online events dedicated. The head of the International Cooperation Department of IPACS – Karolina Sikirinskaya, made a welcoming speech in live and presented a student film in Italian on the first opening day. In the film, IPACS InterClub students tried to reveal the secret of Italian cuisine using scientific methods of cognition.

23/11 students had the opportunity to study the issue of passing the Italian language exam and the PLIDA certification. The speaker was the famous actor and translator – Marco Dinelli.

24/11 students met Ernesto Ferlenghi, Executive Vice President of the Association of Italian Industrialists in the Russian Federation Confindustria Russia, co-chairman of the Italian-Russian Civil Society Dialogue Forum from the Italian side. The participants of the event were able to analyze the current economic indicators of Russia and Italy, the history of partnership between the two countries, touching upon the topic of investment and energy transformation.

25/11 the Director of the Institute of Eurasian Studies – Andrea Giannotti, visited the IPACS RANEPA with an open lecture on the main directions of Italian foreign policy. The professor presented in detail each of the historical periods of the work of the governments of Russia and Italy and discussed with students on this topic.

26/11 an exclusive training was held by Marco Dinelli, where students could try their hand at reading Italian texts and poems, improving their pronunciation. During the training, Marco Dinelli demonstrated to the students a unique technique of correct breathing and pronunciation of Italian sounds.

The exciting Italian week ended with the participation of the International Cooperation Department IPACS in the culinary mine course, where the Consul General of Italy in Moscow Luca Spiniello together with the guests participating in the event in the live broadcast of P.R.I.A. In the atmosphere of smiles and jokes he and guests prepared a local Italian dish-ravioli! Mama mia!
