Online round table “The Light of Faith and Truth of F.M. Dostoevsky” in Spanish language

The Russian-Spanish Center for Cooperation and Education of the IPACS, together with the Department of Language Training of Public Administration Personnel ​​of the IPACS, with the support of the Russian Center and the Department of Slavic Philology of the University of Valencia, held an Online round table “The Light of Faith and Truth of F.M. Dostoevsky” in Spanish language.


The moderators of the round table were Olga Pirozhenko, Executive Director of the Russian Center of the University of Valencia, Director of the Russian-Spanish Center of IPACS RANEPA, Secretary General of Alliance of Russian and Spanish Universities and Olga Murashkina, Associate Professor of the Department of Language Training of Public Administration of IPACS RANEPA.

Javier Torres Hernandez, Education Attaché of the Spanish Embassy in Moscow and Amparo Ricos, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication of the University of Valencia, addressed the speakers with a welcoming speech.

The round table was attended by Russian and Spanish teachers and students. In their papers, speakers studied the life and creative path of the great writer, and also considered the world significance of Dostoevsky artistic heritage and drew parallels with the works of Spanish writers and philosophers.

On the outcomes of the event, Olga Pirozhenko noted that “the round table and its topic aroused keen interest among students and teachers, both Russian and Spanish. Fedor Mikhailovich and his truths are eternal, which means that we will be able to communicate further, despite allgeopolitical conflicts and confrontations. Love and beauty must definitely save the world”.
