Seminar: “Digital Transformation, New Markets and Governance Systems”.

Maxim Prokoshin, PhD in Law, Docent, Associate Professor of the Department of legal regulation of Economics and Finance, Director of the “ Effective Public Administration”, Member of the Center for public Finance and tax law research in Central and Eastern Europe.


In an interview, Maxim Prokoshin gave his comment on the current state of the digital space in the Russian Federation: “Successes are visible to the naked eye. Special managers for digital transformation have been appointed in state authorities, and the level of digital development is increasing.”

In addition, the topical issue of priority areas in the field of digital transformation was raised, namely: education and public administration. The program “Digital Economy”, which was approved by the Government of the Russian Federation, has several projects that are directly aimed at the development of the digital sphere, for example, “Digitalization of public administration”.

Maxim Prokoshin also commented on the situation with the pandemic and how the virus has affected the digital sphere. Of course, the coronavirus has contributed to the development of many industries, there are both positive and negative aspects. But there is no denying the fact that the coronavirus is one of the main catalysts of digitalization in the country.
