Russia-Italy: expanding the horizons of cooperation

February 21 (Mon.) at 17:00 IPACS RANEPA will take part in the Annual Plenary Meeting of the Russian-Italian Civil Society Forum-dialogue.


The event will be attended by the ambassadors of both countries, co-chairs of the Forum-dialogue, as well as heads of working groups.

During the event, experts and participants of the meeting will discuss:

  • Current topics of the Russian-Italian agenda
  • Performance results for 2021
  • Outlined plans for 2022

the Russian-Italian Civil Society Forum-dialogue, created on the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin and former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, has been active since 2004. Today, the co-chair of the Forum-dialogue from the Russian side is the Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation V. Dmitriev, from Italian – Executive Vice President of Confindustria Russia E. Ferlenghi.

The main goal of the forum is to strengthen relations between Russia and Italy, to search for and form promising areas of cooperation between countries in various fields.

Formation of an actual agenda in the dialogue between Russia and Italy in the area of economy, culture and public organizations.

The Russian-Italian Center of the IPACS RANEPA is actively involved in the development of cooperation between Russia and Italy in the field of science, education and culture with the support of the Dialogue Forum.

Every year, the Executive Vice President of Confindustria Russia Ernesto Ferlenghi takes part in the IPACS RANEPA events and always meets as a honored Academy guest.

The IPACS RANEPA wishes further support for the Russian-Italian Forum-dialogue through civil societies and the development of joint initiatives.

The event will be held in a hybrid format.
