The first meeting of the participants of the Spanish talk club “Club de hispanohablantes”
On October 21, the first language meeting of the participants of the «IPACS InterClub Speaking Club» in Spanish («Club de hispanohablantes») took place.
Host of the meeting – Sergey Samoilov, specialist of the International Cooperation Department of IPACS, who has lived and studied for several years in Valencia, where he learned Spanish.
At the meeting students discussed basic phrases for greeting and talking with native speakers. The participants of the meeting further discussed the mentality of Spain and national dishes. Students learn more about Spanish holidays such as the Valencian holiday False.

«The first meeting of Speaking club IPACS was very interesting! I learned a lot about Spanish mentality, the character of the Spaniards and their national dishes. It was very useful to review vocabulary and then expand it. Liked that Sergey devotes time to practice. This is quite important for bridging the language barrier. The meeting was positive and informative. Glad was meet new guys and find like-minded people! I look forward to new meeting!».

«I have been looking forward to the opening of the «Speaking club» for an incredible long time. First meeting … it was very productive and cool! We talked about Spain and its traditions, holidays, mentality. We have learned new Spanish words and expressions, we have made and even learned a few slang words. Many thanks to the IPACS International Club and to Sergey for such an interesting project as «Speaking club!».
