Orientation meeting for students from the Institut catholique de Vendée (La Roche-sur-Yon, France)

Employees of International Cooperation Department, IPACS, RANEPA held an orientation meeting for students from Institut catholique de Vendée (ICES) of La Roche-sur-Yon, France who came to the IPACS RANEPA academic mobility program.

Grimaud Valentine Mathilde Marie, 2nd year student for the faculty of state and municipal administration in program Politics and Law (Russian-French program with in-depth study of foreign languages), and Noutary Martin, 2nd year student for the faculty of state and municipal administration in program Russia-Eurasia: political and economic processes, will be trained at the IPACS RANEPA. In order for them to adapt faster and be able to ask all the questions they are interested in, an orientation meeting was held by the staff of the International Cooperation Department, IPACS, RANEPA.

Sergey Samoilov, a specialist of the International Cooperation Department, told foreign students in detail about the peculiarities of studying at the IPACS RANEPA, the academic schedule, as well as the infrastructure of the Academy.

Anastasia Belyakova, chairman of the international student club “IPACS InterClub” and clerk of the department, spoke about the social and cultural events of the club, special projects, traditional events and the Buddy school, which was prepared for the adaptation of foreign students.

At the end of the orientation meeting, foreign students were solemnly awarded branded gifts from the Institute, as well as accompanying materials, which contains more detailed information for incoming mobility students. Ahead students will meet Buddy, fellow mentors who will help them get comfortable in the IPACS RANEPA, a new city and a new country as a whole. We are sure that it will be an exciting journey that they will remember for a long time.
