Winter school “Professional development of modern youth” of the IPACS RANEPA and the Turan University (Almaty, Kazakhstan) has come to an end
From January 30th to February 4th, a delegation of the IPACS RANEPA, consisting of administrative staff, professors (я как-то вам писала в казахстане, что в академии это уже не teachers. не помню исправила ли в других.) and students, was in the southern capital of Kazakhstan.
The main purpose of the trip was to establish and strengthen partnerships with Turan University and the Republic of Kazakhstan as a whole. In addition, it was important to create a real international platform for students from Russia and Kazakhstan to work together fruitfully.
On the first day, the opening ceremony took place. During the Ceremony was signed the work program for the implementation of educational cooperation between partner universities. This strategic document consolidated several points on joint projects that partners intend to implement in the short term 2023-2024. The signing took place in a solemn atmosphere. The heads of delegations, the first vice-rector of Turan University Kuanysh Tazabekov and acting director of the IPACS RANEPA Ruslan Korchagin, expressed confidence in long-term successful cooperation and noted the importance of holding such events.
An extensive educational program was organized for students of both universities. It included a youth forum on the topic “Student`s social activity”, an online master’s conference “Managing changes in social and legal institutions in the context of globalization”, and an online lecture “Professional career of young people. How to find yourself in the world of professions”, a seminar “International activities and opportunities for foreign students: experience in implementing international programs”, and a visit to the digital forum “Digital Almaty”.
In addition to various educational activities, students were given an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the culture of Kazakhstan. They were given a tour of the University “Turan”, they visited the Lermontov Russian Drama Theatre, Central State Museum of the of Kazakhstan, Medeu sports complex, Abay State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
We thank colleagues from Turan University for the opportunity to create such a large-scale youth project as the winter school “Professional development of Modern Youth”, because thanks to them we managed to expand international horizons, as well as immerse ourselves in the rich culture and history of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Members of the delegation noted that this trip exceeded all their expectations. More details in our video.
