Structural divisions Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service and the Institute of Law and National Security of the RANEPA became co-organizers of the International Youth Forum on Public Diplomacy “InterYes 3.0.” “POWERFUL IDEAS FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT”

On April 11–12th, the International Youth Forum on Public Diplomacy “InterYes 3.0” was held on the online platform of the project office for international youth cooperation in the Russia-BRICS direction, created on the basis of the Creative Industries Fund of the Ulyanovsk Region with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Rosmolodezh.

The Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Aleksey Russkikh greeted the delegates of the forum. The speakers of the expert session from the RANEPA were Valery Smirnov, Deputy Director of the IPNB for International Relations, and Karolina Sikirinskaya, Head of the International Cooperation Department IPACS.

Valery Smirnov noted in his speech: “RANEPA attaches great importance to the study of global integration processes. The only basic department of Eurasian economic integration was created at the ILNS. Every year we hold large events involving students from the EAEU, such as the Union Debate League, the Eurasian School of Integration Law. In May, we are planning an online conference on economics, security and law, as a result of which the best students will be able to take part in the summer campus of the Academy. We have developed very strong relationships with the BRICS Project Office and the SCO Public Diplomacy Center.”

Karoline Sikirinskaya also noted the importance of developing international youth projects and focused on a new understanding of the interaction of young leaders in the BRICS+ format, as well as promoting Russia’s image abroad. During the speech, several youth projects were announced, to which the speaker invited all participants, among them: International Student “Club IPACS InterClub”, “School for Foreign Affairs”, “International Tournament of Cross-Border Projects of the BRICS Countries” and others.

“At the IPACS RANEPA, we are actively developing the agenda of the President of Russia on youth policy and are trying to create maximum opportunities for unlocking the potential of talented youth, future managers!”, – said Karoline Sikirinskaya.

The platform brought together experts and young leaders from around the world: Argentina, Brazil, Cameroon, China, Colombia, Congo, Egypt, Finland, India, South Africa, Mongolia, Chad, Nepal, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Mali, Kenya, Morocco, Iraq, Slovakia, Nigeria, Cyprus, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Haiti and Russia, where the most daring ideas and creative projects were presented.

The main topic of the Forum was related to public diplomacy and strengthening international cooperation in the space of the BRICS+ countries.

As the organizers noted, the International Youth Forum of Public Diplomacy “InterYes! 3.0” has become a vivid illustration of the cooperation of the BRICS countries, whose values are fundamental and understandable throughout the world, and whose positive image and influence are consistently stable.
