On April 27th, IPACS InterClub students attended a meeting with Alexey Fursin, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow, which was organized as part of the Business UPdate club
As part of the projects of the International Student Club “IPACS InterClub” of the International Cooperation Department, IPACS RANEPA, students were invited to a meeting with the Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow as part of the Business UPdate club.
At the event Alexey Fursin told students, beginning and existing entrepreneurs in detail about the current measures to support business by the Moscow government: innovation development platforms, programs to promote products of Moscow manufacturers, opportunities for representatives of the creative industries, educational and information areas, financial support measures, as well as grants, competitions, subsidies and more.
In addition, speaker separately noted that the development of international and youth entrepreneurship remains one of the key ones and does not lose its importance even in the face of a changing geopolitical situation. Alexey Fursin answered in detail questions of the meeting participants.
Students of the IPACS RANEPA shared their impressions of the meeting.
Anastasia Zheludova, a 1st year student in the program “Financial and Legal Profile ((legal enforcement of financial technology)”, emphasized:
“The event was held in an interesting format of dialogue with Alexei Anatolyevich. Various measures to support entrepreneurship in Moscow were given. It’s great that the areas of support are very different – from information technology to the creative industry. Entrepreneurs with experience also attended the meeting, so the information was not dry, but lively, with examples from real life. I got pleasure and a lot of knowledge from communicating with bright, successful people!”.
Elizaveta Krasnoperova, a 1st year student in the program “Domestic Policy and Leadership”, shared:
“At the meeting with the Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development Alexei Fursin, I learned about tools to support small businesses in our country. The meeting discussed the practical implementation of the department’s policy, which was very important for me as a future public figure. I especially liked some of the answers to the audience’s questions, as Alexey Anatolyevich answered them with the utmost precision and clarity, gave practical advice for both young entrepreneurs and experienced businessmen. I benefited greatly from this event, received valuable information and got to know various entrepreneurs and their business”.
