Opening of the summer school “Project management: methodology, tools, methods”
On August 21st, opening of the summer school “Project Management: Methodology, Tools, Methods” took place at the Central Campus of the Presidential Academy. The Summer School is an international annual educational project initiated by the Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service, RANEPA and Turan University.
At the opening ceremony, the head of the International Development Department, Natalia Shafinskaya, delivered a welcoming speech from the leadership of the Presidential Academy. She stressed that 2023 is a landmark year for the development of bilateral Russian-Kazakh relations in the field of higher education; the main goal of the summer school is to train a new generation of specialists who would have professional competencies in the field of personnel management at the international level and who will be able to ensure the effective implementation of all management decisions.
Acting Director of the IPACS RANEPA, Ruslan Korchagin, also applied with a solemn speech addressed to the students:
“Participants of summer schools are the young rising generation of future leaders of our countries. You have the opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills. We are confident that such events help you to shape the right multicultural behavior.”
Gulzhanat Tayauova, Vice-Rector for External Relations and Doctoral Studies, PhD, addressed the participants with a response. The vice-rector of the partner educational organization said:
“Now it is necessary to strengthen the partnerships that have already been established between our universities and our countries. Such projects allow students of IPACS RANEPA and Turan University to get a variety of experience in such an important area as project management.”
After the solemn opening ceremony of the summer school “Project Management: Methodology, Tools, Methods”, speakers of partner educational organizations spoke about the practice of implementing student projects. Zhenisbek Tolen, Head of the Department of Regional Studies and International Relations, and Galia Fayzullina, Head of the Department of Tourism and Service, spoke about the experience of Turan University. The experience of the Presidential Academy in this matter was highlighted by Elena Kireeva, Dean of the Faculty of Personnel Management and Public Administration, IPACS RANEPA.
At the end of the ceremony, the parties expressed confidence in the joint implementation of a number of international projects and fruitful long-term cooperation.
