Experts of the UNESCO Chair of the Presidential Academy at the International Siberian Historical Forums

On January 11, 2024, a meeting of the UNESCO Chair was held, where, among other things, the results of research, project and international activities of the Chair, participation of the Chair staff in projects, conferences, symposia were discussed. There was a substantial discussion, in particular, participation in the International Siberian Historical Forums (information attached).

The study of cultural heritage, formation and preservation of historical memory, traditions of peoples living on the territory of Russia, development of museum activities occupy a central place in the work of the International Siberian Historical Forums, which are held for the second decade in Krasnoyarsk.

Among the organizers of the Forum are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Governor and Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Institute of History SB RAS, Siberian Federal University, Russian Geographical Society, FIC “Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center SB RAS” and other organizations.

Since the IX International Siberian History Forum (2022), the teaching staff of the UNESCO Chair of RANEPA has been involved in the work of this event. The staff of the Chair participated in the preparation and spoke at the field sessions of the innovative educational program “Siberian Seasons”, “Crimean Museological School”. 

Thus, the international project “Crimean museological school “Museum studio” (KMS) was formed in the process of developing the concept of mastering modern technologies of museum activity organization and has been held since 2016 with the active participation of ANO “New Institute of Cultural Studies”, Scientific and Educational Center “Civil Society and Social Communications” of IGSU RANHIGS under the President of the Russian Federation, a number of Russian universities on the territory of the Museum-Reserve “M.A. Voloshin’s Kimmeria”. Last year the lectures on project activity in the museum sphere were given by the specialists of the Institute of Public Service and Management – Professor of the UNESCO Chair Olga Astafieva and Associate Professor of the UNESCO Chair Irina Chuvilova.

At the X International Siberian Historical Forum (October 18-20, 2023) I.V. Chuvilova read the report “Communication strategies of the museum in interaction with the museum audience: segmentation, socio-psychological methods of research”.

The staff of the UNESCO Chair of RANEPA continues cooperation with experts from the subjects of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, China, Pakistan, Serbia, Turkey within the framework of the noted programs and events.
