This is an up-to-date training profile that responds to new challenges in the field of legal regulation of Finance and digitalization.

WHAT IS «PROFIT»
“Legal support of financial technologies” is a new unique bachelor’s degree program in the legal specialty launched in the 2019–2020 academic year.

The aim of the program is to train professional lawyers to work in banks, insurance companies and other financial market organizations that are currently actively involved in digital transformation.
Training in this program can be viewed in several dimensions.
The first dimension is the range of subjects studied.
- Training is based on the study of traditional legal education disciplines: constitutional law; civil and family law; land and environmental law; business law; criminal and administrative law; criminal, arbitration, civil and administrative processes; private and public international law, etc.
- The main focus of the training is on the study of legal and economic disciplines of financial specialization: private and public banking law; Finance and credit; financial and budgetary law; taxes and taxation; financial markets and financial technologies; judicial accounting; international financial law; financial transactions, etc.
- The training program is aimed at students acquiring relevant digital competencies in the modern financial world: data management; legal regulation of electronic document flow and transactions in electronic form; digital technologies in financial activities; legal regulation of intellectual property in cyberspace; information law; legal regulation of cybersecurity; digital financial assets; digital modeling of economic entities, etc.
The program involves some of the best representatives of the legal profession, including teachers from among legal scholars, practicing lawyers, judges and lawyers with experience in leading banks. Many of the teachers take part in the development and examination of legislation and other regulations.
The second dimension is the practical orientation of training.
Students are very interested in getting acquainted with the practice of lawyers in the financial sector.
For this purpose, in addition to traditional classes, open lectures and master classes are widely held at our Academy with the participation of invited top managers of leading banks, state corporations, technology companies and government agencies, as well as effective business owners and successful startup developers. Students have the opportunity to freely attend these events, receive training materials distributed there, and establish useful contacts.
The education is also implemented by conducting field meetings and study tours of students directly in banks and financial organizations, where students have the opportunity to ask questions and get useful information first-hand.
Much attention is also paid to the organization of internships and practical training of students in banks and other organizations of the financial sector. Here students have the opportunity to test their theoretical knowledge in practice.
To implement this direction, the Academy purposefully works to create sustainable partnerships with potential employers of our graduates. When passing an internship and training practice, potential employers look closely at the student and, based on the experience of implementing other programs, often make them job offers during the training period.
The third dimension is the individual learning vector.
We are waiting for strong, prepared and motivated students who are ready to complete the training program and acquire additional knowledge and skills in the time allotted for their studies.
