Seminar «International activities and opportunities for foreign students: experience in the implementation of international programs» within the framework of the winter school, Almaty, Kazakhstan

Final event of the joint project of IPACS RANEPA and the Turan University (Almaty, Kazakhstan) — the winter school «Professional development of modern youth» was a seminar on the topic: «International activities and opportunities for foreign students: experience in implementing international programs».

The speakers were Karolina Sikirinskaya, Head of the International Cooperation Department, IPACS RANEPA and Gulmira Kuttybaeva, Head of the International Cooperation Department, Turan University. They told Kazakh and Russian students about the range of international programs at the IPACS RANEPA and Turan University, about the prospects for joint projects and opportunities for international activities.

Karolina Sikirinskaya spoke about the historical stages of the Academy and current trends in international activities, she also covered in detail the international vector of the Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service. “Our mission is to offer students various opportunities in the international direction to expand their professional prospects and receive the best international practices that they can apply. We are actively motivated to work on the Russian-Kazakhstan vector and are confident that we will launch large-scale joint projects in the near future. We are looking forward to seeing students from Kazakhstan!»

Gulmira Kuttybaeva spoke about the projects implemented by Turan University and noted: “Russian and Kazakh students have a lot in common. There is no misunderstanding between them, they often speak the same language. It is the factor that affects the simplicity in our communication. Turan University provides a huge range of opportunities for you, including various internships, student mobility programs, summer and winter schools and other projects.”

The winter school for the professional development of modern youth has become a real international platform for the development and strengthening of partnerships between educational institutions, and most importantly, it allows students to mutually enrich themselves with knowledge about the cultural traditions and characteristics of Russia and Kazakhstan.
