On December 5th, Karina Litovskikh, a specialist in outgoing mobility of the department, conducted master class on the topic “Public speaking skills: how to speak so that you listened.” During the meeting, the speaker shared with students the basic techniques speaking in front of a large audience, spoke about the main mistakes that speakers admit.

Karolina Sikirinskaya, Head of the International Cooperation Department:

“Discussion of a career trajectory in the early stages of training helps students to more clearly imagine their professional goals and identify preferences. This not only contributes to the choice of the right specialization, but also helps to clearly formulate priority areas of development. With the staff of the Department, we tried, in a dialogue format, to show students what practical skills they need to develop in order to achieve a clearly formulated goal regarding their future career.

Discussing career trajectories can help students begin preparing early in their studies and also help them think about what additional knowledge they need to acquire that will give them an advantage in their subsequent job search. I am sure that after a series of master classes, students began to better understand their strengths in order to develop confidence in their abilities and readiness to make decisions while clearly forming their own value within the framework of work”.

Students also shared their impressions of the past series of master classes “Your professional trajectory”.

Stepan Sukhonos, 1st year student in the program «Politics and law», noted:

“The series of master classes “Your professional trajectory” – became the starting point in my awareness of the future careers. I gained knowledge about many aspects of working in international operations. Attending all the master classes in the series allowed me to evaluate my prospects for labor market and acquire new professional competencies”.
