Practical meeting of participants in the “School of Young International Affairs” project of the ISSU Presidential Academy of RANEPA
On October 31st, at the Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service of the Presidential Academy RANEPA, a practical meeting of participants of “School for Foreign Affairs Newbie” project – management duels took place. Student participants of the School were asked to analyze three cases on international political topics, in each of which they chose roles and began to discuss.
Employees of the IPACS Presidential Academy RANEPA International Cooperation Department acted as the jury. At the end of the event, the jury members selected the most convincing participants in each case of management battles and awarded them with memorable gifts with the symbols of the Institute.
Students shared their impressions of the event.
Anastasia Troshkova, 1st year student in the program “Public Administration and Legal Regulation”, emphasized:
“A very interesting format of the event, when you can try on any role and take any side in the dialogue. I am sure that we managed not only to understand international political processes, but to gain new knowledge in the field of international relations”.
Diana Kim, 1st year student in the program “Effective Public Administration. Educational program in a foreign language,” noted:
“I had the opportunity to take part in management matches, I tried on the roles of senior officials and participated in discussions with other guys. Such events help not only to create new contacts with other students, but also to understand how various international organizations work”.
